Hi, I’m Ashley Villanueva. I’m a 20-year-old international student currently studying Interactive Design and Technology at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Originally from the Philippines, I moved to Canada to pursue better educational opportunities and build a strong foundation for my future.
I’ve always been drawn to creativity. Growing up, I enjoyed drawing, journaling, and working on different arts and crafts. Over time, that interest naturally developed into a passion for digital design and illustration.
Through my studies, I’ve been able to expand my skills in design and gain experience using different digital tools. This program has helped me refine my creativity and apply it in more structured and purposeful ways, allowing me to create work that is both visually engaging and meaningful.
I’m currently working toward building a career in graphic design, with a strong interest in branding and visual design. I’m motivated to continue improving my skills, gaining real-world experience, and developing my own design style as I grow in the field.
I’ve worked with tools like Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Canva, and Procreate, and I enjoy exploring different styles while keeping my work consistent and intentional.

Clairo is a mobile productivity app designed to help users stay organized and efficiently manage their daily tasks. The app focuses on simplifying to-do lists by providing a clean, user-friendly interface that allows users to quickly plan, track, and complete tasks throughout the day.
Created with the goal of improving productivity, Clairo encourages users to stay on top of their responsibilities by organizing tasks into clear sections and prioritizing ease of use. The design emphasizes clarity, minimalism, and functionality, making it easy for users to focus on what needs to be done without distractions.
Overall, Clairo was developed to support better time management and help users build consistent habits, making everyday task management more efficient and structured.

This poster design project focused on combining visual storytelling with strong typography and composition. The goal was to create an eye-catching and meaningful design that communicates a clear message while maintaining aesthetic balance.
The process included sketching initial ideas, experimenting with layout, and refining color, contrast, and hierarchy to produce a polished final outcome.
